The crown and the hairline, as on any head. What's new here is that they'll govern two ties at once, so the crown has to be genuinely centred: shift it and no amount of symmetry further down will save you.
Challenge 7 · Manga hair
Twin tails
Two equal masses, one on each side, and nowhere to hide a mistake. Symmetry stops being a detail here: if one tail sits higher or weighs more than the other, everyone sees it. The way through is to solve one side properly and mirror it on purpose — never to redraw it from memory.
